Tengu

There are times in one's life when one could simply do with a new buddy. You know, not a real-world entity like a faithful hound called Rory, but a virtual desktop chum.

Permit us to explain in words of just a few syllables. Tengu is a USB-powered character that lights up and lip-syncs to music or your voice or whatever noise happens to be around at the time. Tengu has different facial expressions that you can match to different music. When there's no sound, he'll simply fall asleep but as soon as he detects some noise, he'll wake up again.

And how does it earn its spurs? Tengu guarantees to bring a smile to your weary face as he mimes along to your favourite songs. To change Tengu's facial expressions you just need to blow on his face for a second (his face will change automatically if he hears a lot of loud music). Tengu responds to sound level and with the right music, he magically synchs with the singer.

Tengu comes with a 1m white USB cable and draws power through any free USB port. As a standalone device, he doesn't need any software on the host computer, so he is compatible with most operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux etc).
